Join a committee & get involved with your child’s school…within reason. Pick ONE thing you can do well and raise your hand to do that now. Later when you’re bombarded with requests, you can simply point to what you are doing and say, “I have already signed up to do X,Y,Z, and that’s all I have the bandwidth for.” |
