I like to have my office neat; things where I can find them. This is why I always thought that I was a “filer” – I file things away in a system that works for me. And when I do, my office IS neat.

It’s that transitional stage from getting a piece of paper and actually filing it that is my problem. I had piles to go through for work, for personal, for Mom, bills to be paid with a check, bills to be paid online, people to follow up with, bills to file, correspondence to reply to, yadda yadda yadda. You get the idea – lots of piles!

I tell myself that they are organized that I can find anything I need. So not true! It still will take me several minutes to determine if it’s in a pile, which one or did I already file it? And where do the piles sit? All over the office!

Well, Pendaflex has a trio of products that help the chronic and not so chronic piler to get organized. I’m all for that!

PileSmart® Desktop Organizer Tray

My salvation came in the form of the PileSmart® Desktop Organizer Tray from Pendaflex. It’s not just a tray, it has hard plastic dividers that have tabs on the side and what I would call the top (depends how you have it on your desk) and they are wonderful. They are sturdy enough to keep the papers separated and flexible enough to not worry about breaking. You can write on the tabs and erase if you make a mistake or change your mind on what the tab should be (every women’s prerogative!). The tray is made of durable acrylic and is slightly slanted towards the back corner to keep your papers looking neat (and it actually does that!) The dividers are sturdy enough to help lift your papers. I labeled mine, QuickBooks, Orders, Projects, To Do, File and Pending. NOW all my piles are in one place, clearly labeled until they get filed! Now I truly feel organized!

The PileSmart® Desktop Organizer Tray won the “Organizer’s Choice Award for Best Business Product at the 2007 annual NAPO Conference, and I can see why! For more info go HERE.

PileSmart® Binder Label Clips

The next thing I tried out was the PileSmart® Binder Label Clips. I usually only use clips when I have to sort or when I have lots of papers for one project, but I just may start to use them for more things! I usually separate different areas of a project with a sticky note – so everything within a pile is clearly marked. And I am finding that the write-on tab of these clips is a godsend – no more sticky notes to fall off my pile or get stuck to another pile! The labeled portion is high enough to go above the papers so you can easily glance at a pile and find the section you need. Cuts down on pile search time too. They come in 1/4” and ½” capacity. If you are a true pile person, or have complex projects that would need to be kept sorted, this is for you! You can get more info click here.

PileSmart® View Folders with Write-On Tabs

The final product I was asked to look at was the PileSmart® View Folders with Write-On Tabs. I love organizational tools that are versatile! Boy, I could have used these folders when we all traveled a lot! I like that they are clear color coded and have labels you can add to the tabs that can be written on. Being see through, you can easily find the document or paperwork you need – quickly. They can hold up to 75 sheets – more than enough for travel itineraries, meeting schedules, notes, etc. for traveling business people. The surface is textured so papers won’t slip out. Since they fit into hanging folders, I can just file them after the trip is over and everything is in one place. They are also great for parents to keep track of kid schedules, games, papers, and a myriad of other planning and daily activities! I may use them to keep track of my recipes too! Or maybe I’ll sort by person so they know what is theirs! I can see the PileSmart View Folders with Write-On Tabs being helpful for office or home!
This is our third challenge and my first one with toilet paper.

Last time when I tested the paper towels, White Cloud won hands down. But let me say this again, I think what White Cloud is doing is amazing. They are setting us loose to see what we prefer and while of course, they hope, we choose their product, they have no control over if that is the one we like best. What that says to me already is that they have a great product and are very confident we will think so too.

I have in front of me two rolls of toilet paper: (1) Roll A; and (2) Roll B.

You may or may not be able to tell from the visual, these rolls are clearly very different. I already know which one I like best but I will keep that to myself for now.

I have a few tests I am going to put the rolls through. Now these are more like a checklist in my head as to what a rolls of toilet has to have before I will but it and to put in my bathrooms:

(1)	One or Two Ply
(2)	Value
(3)	Soft or Quilted

One or Two Ply. I must have two ply. Not only for me but for everyone in my family. Roll A is two ply. Roll N is one ply.
Winner: Roll A

Value. The size of the roll is important to me. It signifies how much value I am getting for my money and also means fewer roll changes and less of a chance that a guest will ‘run out’ when using our bathroom. Roll A has a lot more on it that Roll B.
Winner: Roll A

Soft and/or Quilted. Again, I feel like a broken record but Roll A is quilted and soft. Roll B feels a lot more like just paper.
Winner: Roll A

So again I have to say, I have no idea if the White Cloud is Roll A or Roll B.

What I do know is that instantly I knew that for me and my family, Roll A is the better choice. Now we will have to wait and see which one is White Cloud and which one is night. Check back here and I will post it when I get the results.

Give <a href="http://www.mywhitecloud.com"target="_blank">White Cloud a try.

They are sold at Walmart and are a great value. If you go to their site they also offer some great coupons as well. Let us know what you think.

Disclosure: This is sponsored content and we have been paid to do this post. That being said, we do not blog about anything we do not believe in and White Cloud did not edit our post or direct our content in any way.

My ONLY goal is to get him changed as quickly as humanly possible so that he doesn’t wake his older brother, Will. I’ve gotten pretty good at the sub one-minute pit stop/change. But where I fall down is getting the dirty diaper actually into the diaper pail. I’ve been using the Diaper Genie since William was an infant, and, while it does a really good job of locking smelly diapers away, it’s not always the most user-friendly contraption. So, more often than not, the midnight diaper change sits on top of the diaper pail until morning. In all honesty, it’s not uncommon for that to happen during the day too, since I am usually holding Lachlan when I try to put the diaper in the pail. There are only so many seconds I can fiddle with something that’s low to the ground before my knees start to hurt and back tweaks because I’ve got an 18 pound infant wiggling away in my other arm.

About a month ago, the kind folks at Munchkin gave me a brand new “one-hand” diaper pail to test.

The new Arm & HammerTM Diaper Pail by Munchkin Waiting to Be Tested

Like the Diaper Genie, this new Arm & HammerTM Diaper Pail by Munchkin seals away smelly diapers so you don’t get a blast of nastiness when you open it. But it’s different on a few fronts:

- You can truly open and close it with one hand. The lid opens right up at the push of a button. I’ve been using it for a week now and not once have I had to leave a dirty diaper on top of the pail until I had two free hands to deal with it.

- The seal is activated simply by closing the lid. You don’t have to twist anything to make it work.

- There aren’t any ‘fake’ scents used to cover up dirty diaper smells. Instead the pail uses natural baking soda to do the dirty work. Each time you close the lid, a little bit of baking soda pours onto the top of the bag. That’s it, and it works like a charm.

- The bag extraction process is SO easy! I have to cop to the fact that I used to delegate the swap out of the bag for my old diaper pail to my husband because I found it so frustrating. You had to hold down a “cut” button and twist the top around and whenever I did that, it never cut enough, so bits of the bag would get stuck in the top and I’d have to rip it by hand. Plus you had to tie tops and bottoms. In short, it was a pain. Worth it because it contained the smells, but a pain nonetheless. With this new Munchkin pail, all you do is lift the bag out and snap it shut. Even I can do that! To put a new bag in, all you have to do is open the top, snap the plastic pieces into place and you’re done. No tying, twisting, or cutting.

In short, I love it. The only minor issues I have are:
1) The bag doesn’t seem to hold quite as many diapers before you have to change it (but maybe I think that because I’m actually changing the bag in this one instead of delegating to my husband!). In all actuality, the Arm & HammerTM Diaper Pail by Munchkin is bigger – so it probably holds more.
2) The first time it ever gets full, you might think you’ve broken it because the lid makes a grating/popping sound when it closes and it may not close at all. But once you realize what’s going on, that issue goes away completely.

So – thanks Munchkin team for the new diaper pail. I definitely feel as though my nursery has gotten a real upgrade! And if you’ve got kids in diapers at home – I definitely recommend upgrading to this pail yourself.
