- my advice:
- “I used to get really stressed because everything on my ‘to do’ list didn’t get done on the day I had assigned for it. No, I’m not controlling at all! Well, now I only schedule 4 hours for those items that MUST get done. Why? Because we all tend to have our own gravitational force, and things that you never planned for will find and orbit around this force until you have the time to deal with them! By scheduling a realistic 4 hours, you will have the time to handle the things you scheduled, plus all those things that were unexpected as well. The bonus is that you will feel organized and in control!”

I do keep a ‘to do list’ – in my Do&Delegate.list. I cross off as I go and when it’s too messy to read, I transfer non completed items to a clean page. I like to keep strictly work stuff on it and limit my at-home stuff to a list that I keep separately at home. I try to focus on the things with deadlines and it feels good to get them done before they are due. I also star the items that are a MUST so I know they are priority for any day or week.

I'm too busy to watch the news and it's too distracting while I drive, so I go on cnn.com during my lunch hour and try to stay current with what is happening in the world - it's kinda like my lifeline and helps me keep my life in perspective.

They have some pretty good sales and I like to peruse the pages for gifts.

I really like that spray salad dressing! I know it sounds weird, but you only use a small portion – helps to keep the calories in check and it's one less thing to have to worry about!

One of my new favorites is the GiftCard.log because I give gift cards. I just never know what to get young children on the cusp of adulthood and figure if I did get them something I liked, it really wouldn’t be hip for their generation (come to think of it, they don’t use words like ‘hip’ do they?). So I like to give Gift Cards and a little something else, like earrings or a team shirt. Now I can give them the GiftCard.log with the gift card and I know they will not only use it but like it!

The Password.log is VITAL to my survival as the Chief Juggler. I have so many passwords to keep track of because I log on to a variety of different sites, from banking to online retailers to suppliers, that it’s difficult to remember all of the individual passwords. I have gotten locked out because I put in the wrong password and kept trying – I hate when that happens! This small, efficient little book keeps all my passwords within easy reach and has room for the new password when the old one expires – which I LOVE! Plus there are enough pages to cover all of the different sites I use in my adventure as the Chief Juggler!

I believe the Collision.kit is brilliant. Buy it and forget it (I pretend that if I have it I won’t ever need it)! This compact kit is great for the beginner driver as well as the seasoned driver. I’ve had people tell me they don’t need the kit because they are a good driver – and I commend them on their driving record. But I also remind them that the idiot who plows into them may not have such a good record-but with this great kit, they will now know what to do. If you haven’t had an accident in years, you may have forgotten the basics of what to do and what information to get. The Collision.kit takes all of the guesswork out of it, just follow the instructions and you are golden! Your insurance company will be happy you have one too!

Life.doc is one of my favorites – imagine your file cabinet in one binder. Sheer genius. It’s like they did all of the thinking for you! All you have to do is fill in the blanks and you are set! If you’ve ever had anyone ill and tried to track medications or surgeries, or lost important information on a hard drive, you can understand the simplicity and beauty of this binder. It’s so easy to use and it really gives you peace of mind when you fill it out.

I LOVE the Do&Delegate.list as well, in addition to all of my other favorites. I really love that it is small and I can tear out what I consider to be completed. I also have a habit of using just one side and then going back and doing math and stuff on the other side of the sheet. I really like it because it’s small enough to be easily portable, but big enough to find under a pile of papers!
