    I completed a Couch to 5k running plan this summer! At the end of May, I could barely run 40 seconds without coming to a defeated stop. But I continued to work through the plan, which starts building you up from running/walking intervals, hitting the pavement became a pavement and the progress was intoxicating!! All of the sudden I could run 3 minutes, 12 minutes, 20 minutes….. Labor Day weekend I ran in my first 5k and only had to stop to walk twice for about 30 seconds each. I had to fight off a lot of lies and days of guilt as I was on this journey, but as long as I kept it FUN, I was unstoppable. Summer of 2012 will be one to remember in my life!!
