    too many to-dos in my head makes me unable to sleep at night..an over-active brain is really hard to deal with

    Good advice always needs a bit of tailoring.  I am a night owl, but only need 6 hours of sleep to feel okay and can do on less if have a 15 minute nap during the day.  Hubbie needs 10 to 12 hours.

    You have my husbands problem they say if you are a constant worrier you cannot shut off your brain at night. Try doing yoga or breathing exercises before you go to be to clear your mind. The other idea someone told me was to write a journal at night. Enter whats on your mind so you can forget about it until the next day. When you wake up your thoughts are there for you to address.
