This is a wonderful list. I’m taking notes as I read it 🙂 Thank you for your input.

I am a realtor and one thing I always suggest to my clients is to pack a suit case like you are going on a trip. Several sets of clothes, bath products in plastic bags, medicine, shoes and so on. Then a box for the house the first day. Coffee, cups, toilet paper, paper towesl, paper plates. plastic utensils, trash bags bath towesl and night clothes. A cooler for refrigerator items, coffee cream, milk for cerial, butter, muffins for breakfast and things for a quick lunch to keep you going. All this will help make things less stressful when you get to the new home.

I think if it’s possible then move your things bit by bit. this spreads out the stress a bit and gives you time to tidy up what you’ve moved over little by little.

Of course it is moving day and the day of stress and questions to ask yourself: “I took everything? What could I forget”
