Kick off guilt-free parenting week tonight!

As any reader of ours knows, we’re huge fans of the guilt-free approach. Nobody’s perfect at anything, so feelings of guilt over inadequacies are just a waste of emotion.

That’s why we’re thrilled to help Babycenter celebrate a guilt-free approach to parenting all week next week.

To get things started, they’re kicking off with a big Twitter party tonight. Here are the details – trust us, you won’t want to miss it. Up for grabs is a chance to win guilt-free shopping sprees, pampering prizes and a whole bunch of other goodies. To join the party, visit Tweetchat.com at 9 p.m. EST, enter #guiltfreeweek at the top and you’re in the party!! For more details, see this how-to guide from the party host, Resourceful Mom. Don’t forget to follow @BabyCenter.

If you’ve got kids, be sure to head on over to their Momformation blog (we’re proud contributors) to see what it’s all about. We’ll be posting about guilt-free organization on Monday and again on Friday about how to gracefully turn down those endless requests to volunteer.

Other contributors will be writing about everything from guilt-free snacks to working-mom guilt, stay-at-home mom guilt, throwing away kid’s art guilt and everything in-between.

Do you suffer from the guilt syndrome? What do you feel guilty about?

I used to feel guilty about not seeing parents, family, etc. but I decided a guilt trip is not one that I really like to go on so I stopped!
