Meet Laura

Laura Vickers is a mom with two beautiful little children (Samantha and Gavin), wife to my high school friend, Travis, who is bravely battling cancer. Her friends have put together a 5k race to raise money and help pay down her mounting medical bills and provide opportunities for therapies to help her cope with the traditional treatments she is receiving. The less time she and Travis have to spend worrying about things like mounting medical bills, the more quality time they have as a family.

The time that you’ll get to spend together training for the race and then again on the day itself is a gift any mom would love (even if you just walk!).
