Friday’s Game Plan: Moving Day!

Preparing for moving day is a big undertaking. There are so many boxes to pack, clothes to fold, closets to go through, papers to throw out. The list goes on and on.

I have moved quite a bit over the last five years and through all those moves one of the best lessons I learned was about making sure my mail ended up in the right place. Mail forwarding is great, but there are a lot of other items that need to be updated and going through that list can take quite a bit of time.

This weekend I’m going to start going through these general topics in order to make sure I have covered everything:

-Friends/Family
-Bank Accounts
-Credit Cards
-Insurance
-Magazines
-Electronics (including cell phones)
-Online Accounts

Under each of these points their are various accounts that need to be changed. By having overall fields, I think it will make the process of going through each much easier.
