Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and if you are in charge of hosting a party for your child’s classroom, some quick and easy tips for a great party are below!
Party Planning Tips:
Make sure to ask other parents for help! Enlist other parents to help buy decorations and food ahead of time, and then ask others to help supervise the kids on the day of the party.
Preparation is key for the perfect classroom party; prepare ahead of time and create a craft supply list to request donations from parents so there is plenty of paper, scissors, glue sticks, and pipe cleaners to go around. (Check with the teacher to see if the school already has enough supplies.)
Keep it simple with 4 activities:
• A craft
• A game
• Exchanging Valentine’s Day cards
• Snacks and treats
Some fun ideas include creating Valentine’s Day cards, mailboxes to collect the Valentine’s, Heart shaped cookies, cupcakes, sandwiches, and fruit! Happy Valentine’s Day!
