Morning Routine – Makeup Application

I’m always looking for ways to organize my morning routine so I can be out the door in a quick and orderly fashion!

I came across this five minute makeup plan that will get you out of the house and on the road in quick minute! I have also found that it is helpful if all the products that I need in the morning are already laid out or within arms reach.

1. Rinse and moisturize your face, cleanse your face and then follow up with a moisturizer.
2. Dab on foundation: Use a foundation to even out your overall skin tone. Focus on your chin, the sides of your nose, and around your eyes.
3. Sweep on mascara: Use mascara to open up your eyes and make you look more refreshed. Sweep it on from root to tip.
4. Apply lip color and blush. Apply a blush to the apple of each cheek, sweeping back toward the ear. On your lips, use color with a sheer or gloss finish!

Remember to keep your makeup organized that way you will always know where your items are!

I find if I apply my moisturizer and foundation right out of the shower, when my hair is wrapped in a towel, it saves time not having to make sure my hair is not in the way and can apply it all the way to the hairline..
