You know, the best thing about doing an online blog (I started one for my son, http://www.zionbaca.com , is that you can turn it into a memory book at the end of the year on their birthday using online software such as blurb.com. It’s cheap, it’s easy and you don’t have to get any glue on your fingers.

Your notebook idea of jotting things down is awesome! I just kind of scribbled things down on pieces of paper and stuffed them in “baby boxes” — not nearly as coherent and organized when I look at it now, but I tried!

And just scan those pictures and other memoribilia as you gather them…then at the end of the year, go to someplace like Snapfish and you can very easily make a book with just a few clicks.

I also love writing down the memories with my little daughter, but instead of scrapbooking, I write a diary for her (almost) everyday, and hopefully she will also love writing her own in the future too 🙂 thanks for sharing your great idea !
