Kitchen Counter Bottle Rack Makeover

So I subscribe to an incredible email list called Mamaista, that sends me a snapshot of one neat, new product for moms every morning. Two days ago, they featured the a bottle drying rack that was just too cute to pass up. I had a makeshift one made out of a cookie sheet and a cookie rack, but it was pretty ugly.

Today my little bright patch of grass arrived, and as soon as I set it up, I had double the counter space I had before AND my counter looked a little sunnier.

    I agree, the grassy drying rack is much cuter than the homemade version. The thing is that my enviro-cop mentality won’t let me buy something when I have a perfectly workable alternative right at my fingertips. I was thinking though that maybe I could combine the two. Think of a way to make the homemade drying rack cuter and more presentable. Maybe decoupage the cookie tray?
