Good article, but a couple of errors. Infant tickets will just cost you the taxes if it’s a domestic flight, and usually 10% of the fare plus taxes for International.

Also, the car rental’s car seat is not a perk. They charge for it. Usually between $10-$20/day.

We will be traveling next week with our 3 year old and 18 month old by minivan! Some changes we’ve made since having kids is comfortable accommodations! We are renting a 2 bdrm cabin vs. a single hotel room. That will make sleeping possible for everyone on the trip!

This is a positively wonderful travel guide. I have read many of these types of travel with baby advice blog articles and this one is by far the most thought out. Location and baby perks are two areas that cannot be overlooked. The days of long road trips should really be off the table for several years when a child can entertain themselves in a car for that long. In terms of baby perks on vacation, I recently went on a family cruise where my niece had a children’s program that she was able to attend for the entire day. They also offered a nightime baby-sitting service for a very reasonable price. Because of this service my sister in law and family was able to enjoy the adult aspect of their vacation as much as their daughter did.

So many helpful information on this site … thank you for this… our family like travel a lot ,but, at time of pandemic, the best way to move is our own car. To choose the best car seats for our two children was very important and responsible. We understood that the most important in car seats is: washable and breathing textile, five-point seat belts with soft pads, secure attachment to the seat of the car, and the convenience of the child on long trips. The best option for us became Graco car seats, and reviews for these brand we have saw at
