This would be great to have on hand. Of course, I had nothing when my toaster oven burst into flames a few years ago! I quickly unplugged it, opened the back door, picked up the toaster oven by the handles using potholders and threw it into the backyard! The flames went out and the only damage was to the toaster oven.

  • Sunnymay

I remember the holiday, my brother gave his wife a fire extinguisher. She has never let him forget it and reminds him to get personal.
Maybe he was concerned about safety, but he did get a utility gift. My dad was a fireman, so no wonder this was high on his must get list.
