    Wow, your mom sounds like a powerhouse, Sarah!

    I love these tips. Sometimes we need to take a chill pill when it comes to the holidays. It’s important to enjoy your company and not break your back preparing a perfect meal.

    One thing I’ll do this year is to cut corners on gravy. My mom even has a jarred brand she thinks is good. I made this crazy 3-day long gravy from the New York Times last year and no one could tell the difference! Don’t you hate that?

    THREE DAY gravy? My heavens! I’m all for trying gourmet experiments, but lordy me, that takes things to a whole new level. And there is nothing worse than slaving away over something when people can’t tell the difference!
