Think also about resources you have, and how to use them as gifts. I am a member of a botannical garden, and they do a wonderful evening light tour during the Holidays, with music, cider and cookies. Instead of the usual individual gifts for my local relatives, I have sent a ” Family Night” invitation for an evening at the Garden Festival of Lights. (I used the garden website, copied some photos and logo to paste into a plain invitation) There are specific members-go-free nights, with up to 4 more free tickets. I have invited 10 of our multi-generational family to “do” something memorable, and my cost will be a fraction of the normal individual gifts I usually buy for them. ( $24 for all!)
Starting as an idea to stretch my gift dollars, I am most excited about a night to share something fun that will appeal to kids to grandparents. ( and no returns!!)
